This is one of my personal pipes and it is a very interesting one.

The shape itself is quite unique — a straight diamond-shanked bulldog — and the silver band is also quite rare.

This being said, I do have one gripe with the band… I did check and there is absolutely no repair underneath it, and it was fitted at the factory, but the fit just shows how little Dunhill cared and why us Charatan’s fans believe the day Dunhill bought Charatan to be one of the saddest days in the history of the brand.

This is still a pipe made by Charatan’s though, which you can tell by the misaligned “DC” stamp after the shape number, and it is still an incredibly comfortable and well-performing pipe.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
