I’m not going to go on about the pipe itself — as you can see from the photos, it has one of the most appealing sandblasts that Dunhill has to offer.

Let me tell you about the odd stamp though: there are actually two additional stamps here — “NOT FOR SALE” and the “C” (Complimentary) — and both basically mean the same thing. Those were used whenever Dunhill was gifting a pipe to someone who was visiting the factory, or maybe as a special extra pipe in a shipment for the owner of a nice tobacconist shop.

Whatever the case might be, you don’t see Dunhills like this so often, especially since their owners would probably consider a pipe like this the last to go from their collection.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
