Looking at the smooth finish and lighter stain, I can already tell you this is a high-grade Pete. It actually came to me as a set with an identical pipe but with a fishtail stem. Normally I would have loved to pass them on together, but the tenon of the other one snapped in shipping, and I have no idea when I’ll be able to finish a repair like that.
