The Make an Offer button is now officially live and working on Tortuga Estate.
After moving away from eBay, this was one of the features I missed the most. A fixed price is simple, but sometimes it is much nicer when both sides can meet somewhere in the middle and agree on a reasonable offer.
The new feature is not quite as automatic as eBay’s Best Offer system, but I have tried to make it as smooth and frictionless as possible.
You can now submit an offer directly from the product page. Once I review it, I can either accept it, decline it, or send back a counter offer.
There is still some polishing to do, but the core function is finally working.
Small note: after submitting an offer, please also check your spam folder, just in case the reply email ends up there.
