If there is one pipe I’ve sold the most of, it has to be the Peterson 9S De Luxe. While most examples sell for quite high prices, this one won’t go the same route — for one simple reason: there’s a small darkened spot near the rim on the right side. I guess the previous owner didn’t have the best aim when it comes to lighter skills…

Don’t let that discourage you. This is still an amazing 50+ year old Peterson De Luxe — just with a tiny visual mark that’s barely noticeable in real life. Still, following my strict grading rules, this pipe lands cleanly in Grade A4.
