We have yet another Peterson oddity here…

A petite straight bulldog from the London Peterson factory. It bares the rarest English COM stamp — “LONDON MADE” over “ENGLAND”. Even more rare is the shape — I have never seen a 175P Peterson before, and the size is almost a Specialty one.

Doing some research on the line led me to Mark Irwin’s blog and his Peterson book — it appears that the grade of the London & Dublin line is first grade (just below the De Luxe).

The condition of the pipe is really good, but it is anchored in the A4 grade. The pipe has been smoked and loved, and I decided to keep most of those minor love marks during the restoration. One note: there is a small uneven spot on the inside rim — hopefully it shows well enough on the photos.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
