There is unfortunately a very small amount of information on the Grafton line that I managed to find…

All I know is that it is one of those very limited, Supreme-grade releases.

Here is a quote from Jim’s blog:

“The Grafton Series:- Peterson state that “Only about 5% of our bowls are good enough to make this selection of pipes. These special pipes, all of which are silver mounted, are rare and only a limited number are available each year. Shapes can vary depending on availability of suitable raw materials”.”

I can just add that I managed to find Graftons with both real Cumberland stems and ones with this dark swirl acrylic stem. I guess they could have been made for different markets.

This specific pipe has been smoked no more than 10 times in my opinion. There were no teeth marks on the stem, only an initial layer of cake, and the bottom of the chamber hasn’t even gotten a chance to darken properly.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
