According to Mark Irwin, the Dublin & London / London & Dublin lines were Supreme-level grade lines, which I can confirm because I have had and worked on quite a few of the older examples.

What I didn’t know though was that Peterson revived the line in 2016, and they actually did a great job preserving the design spirit of the older line. We still have the light honey-colored stain, but this time with a lovely caramel swirl acrylic stem and the inlaid silver P, reserved only for high grade Peterson pipes.

Condition note: this pipe is in excellent condition, and there is just one small dark spot on the side of the bowl. I spent a good amount of time testing and checking what it was, and I am happy to report that it is just a natural part of the briar.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
