I just love finding and learning about more obscure Peterson lines. The Dingle has to be my favourite one — all the pipes I have seen from this line have been from 1995, all of them had amazing grain and no fills in sight!

This puts them possibly in the Supreme-grade briar range for me. Add this to the warm stain and the elegant silver band and you get a pipe that punches way over its class.

This being said, I haven’t found any reference to the original price of the pipe, so they might have officially been very high grade. At the end of the day, I like to trust my eyes and hands more than official grading from the companies.

My personal Dingle is a John Bull 999 with an extra short and stubby acrylic stem, and it is one of my favourite pipes.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
