This gorgeous Peterson comes straight from my personal collection and has been a very loved pipe. It’s from one of those modern Peterson lines that weren’t officially limited editions, yet you rarely ever see them come up for sale — probably because people tend to hold on to them once they get one.

Looking at the photos, it’s easy to see why. The warm stain combined with the silver band already makes for a very attractive pipe, but the flame-pattern stem completely steals the show. It adds a bold, almost playful character without feeling gimmicky at all.

I know for a fact that I will regret selling this one. There is a slight and even darkening on the rim, which is completely normal for bent hanging pipes and something I decided to leave as-is.
