This pipe is part of an interesting lot I got recently, full of beautifully grained Italian pipes.

I did some research on this Savinelli line, and from what I found, these bowls were basically perfect contenders for the Giubileo d’Oro line (This is the highest Savinelli grade at around 1000$) — but they ended up having fills, and that’s how the Savinelli Straight Grain C line came to fruition.

I only wish they put a nicer stem on them instead of this basic molded one.
