It has happened before with my Il Ceppo House Pipe, and now with this gorgeous Kriswill. Rules are rules, and if I haven’t smoked a pipe in three months, it needs to find a new home where it will get the attention it deserves.

Kriswill is a brand that is almost forgotten today, but at one point they were bigger and more popular than Stanwell. What differentiates them from Stanwell, though, is their very unique design language — Kriswills usually have much finer and more elegant dimensions, together with extra-fine vulcanite stems.

They also paid great attention to the grain, as you can see from this practically perfect example. In addition to their amazing smooth pipes, you can also find some of the most interesting sandblasts on old Kriswill pipes.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
