While hunting for a family-era Sasieni to keep for myself, I came across this beautiful mystery pipe — a brand new, unsmoked Sasieni 4 Dot sample piece, complete with its original box. I bought it from a reputable seller who had around twenty similar pipes, some stamped and some completely unstamped. I still find myself wondering why certain sample pipes were left without any nomenclature at all.

With no stamping, it’s practically impossible to date this Sasieni, but it looks like a modern one. What is clear though, is that it’s a gorgeous unused pipe waiting for someone to light the very first bowl.
