This wonderful Pete is rare on so many levels…

Starting with the finish: only a very small percentage of Peterson pipes end up as Rua. It has a deep and gnarly sandblast, combined with a really interesting contrast reddish stain.

It’s also a De Luxe System pipe in one of my favourite Peterson shapes — we’re starting to see it more and more, but I still consider it one of the rarer Peterson shapes.

The “CP” stamp means this release is part of the Charles Peterson collection.

And finally, being a 125th Anniversary pipe, it’s limited to only 200 pipes worldwide — this one is number 144.
