This wonderful Pete is rare on so many levels…

Starting with the finish: only a very small percentage of Peterson pipes end up as Rua. It has a deep and gnarly sandblast, combined with a really interesting contrast reddish stain.

It’s also a De Luxe System pipe in one of my favourite Peterson shapes — the 12 1/2, which is also Peterson’s smallest De Luxe shape.

The “CP” stamp means this release is part of the Charles Peterson collection.

And finally, being a 125th Anniversary pipe, it’s limited to only 200 pipes worldwide — this one is number 44.

The pipes go through one final check before shipping, so if you notice any inconsistencies in the carnauba finish or smudges they will be taken care of before your pipe is shipped to you.
