Not only is this my favourite Stanwell shape, it is also the most comfortable hanging pipe I have ever tried. The steep angle of the curved stem makes sure the pipe rests flat on your chin while the bowl stays nicely horizontal. It feels incredibly secure — honestly, I feel like you could go for a run while clenching this pipe and it wouldn’t move at all.

When it comes to the briar and finish, we have a beautiful natural stain that will only get richer and more saturated over time. The grain is absolutely stunning, with very well-defined bird’s-eye near the top of the bowl, transitioning into straighter grain toward the lower part. A really well-balanced and visually satisfying piece.
